After the paper model experiment, I spent two days making a paper model of my white MacBook. Mapping out the computer took a day, using a ruler to measure everything and drawing it all, then the next day was spent putting it together (amongst other things). The hardest part was figuring out how to make the lid hinge properly given that it was so small (about 4mm wide), so in the end I left the ends open and used thread.
